Ok, I was wrong, now that I think of it Lamech was a girl. *grins* So, my brain was a little tired when I typed that. And who is... Mekki?

Oh my favorite was when someone thought I was guy. I think that was the highlight of this board for me. *laughs* I wish I could remember who that was. The post by them was fantastic.

I'll tell you about the lurker.

His name was Five and he showed up...I dunno, two or three years ago or so and said he'd been a longtime lurker. He proceeded to demonstrate some knowledge of the board split, the invasions, and a couple other things. I think this put some people on the defensive, having a stranger show up knowing all the history as everyone else. From what I recall, he was somewhat ostracized and I haven't seen him here since.

I remember Five. It was an odd time for the board as a whole, as I recall. But didn't he say he was originally somebody else from the early days? Or am I thinking of another person entirely?

You should probably take into consideration that several unknown people may be reading what we post- and checking out the photo album- etc..

Case in point- I lurked for a decent amount of time before posting. not cus I'm wierd- just cus I'm skittish.

I got everyone's gender mixed up- and I'm pretty sure I almost bolted a couple of times- but hey..

Now you can't get rid of me.

Suffice to say, this is a fun community. It's too bad if we scared anybody off- Blame it all on Jax.

And I'm RichC, who hung out here all the time until his laptop died. Now I'm stuck on an ancient computer that can't load the forum (it's the ads that cause the computer to crash btw. I don't know what about them, but it crashes everytime an ad starts loading). So now I can only post here when I can sneak a post or two while using my friends computer to balance my checkbook. [img]wink.gif[/img]

I have the oldest screen name on the board, but I'm not the oldest poster (Jax beats me by a month or two).

So I'll pop in every now & then until I finally have enough $$ to get my own computer.
